Exercises and Stretches

Our bodies were designed to work hard and move a lot. Nowadays, because of modern conveniences at home (washing machines, dish washers, etc.) and workplace automation (robotics, computers, etc.), we tend to use our bodies a lot less and in less balanced ways than our parents and grandparents.

Over time, the habit of less activity in general, and much more unbalanced motion by sitting, creates muscle imbalance. Muscles that are used repetitively over-strengthen, while the unused muscles weaken. Joints begin to move unevenly, causing stress, and ultimately joint breakdown
