The Posture Pal Posture Cushion (shown here without the washable cover) uses gravity to reverse the effects of poor posture. The image above illustrates the cushion's unique contours and scientific design.
- This special recess allows the head to assume a neutral or slightly backward position simultaneously stretching the muscles in the front of the neck and relaxing the muscles at the back.
- The soft neck bridge encourages a normal curve in the neck.
- Internal rotation of the shoulders is a major problem with poor posture. These special recesses allow the shoulders to relax and rotate outward.
- This upper back bridge exerts a gentle forward force that relaxes the back and expands the chest area.
- The upper back bridge has a gentle decline to the lower back area.
The special features of the Posture Pal cushion are so unique that the company was awarded a U.S. Patent.

Poor Body Posture Increases as We Age
Most scientists maintain, and most Chiropractors agree, that gravity is the cause of poor body posture as we get older.
Dr. Brent Jarrett, an award-winning Podiatrist, says that: "Physics teaches us that Force equals Mass times Acceleration, F = MA. The acceleration of gravity multiplied by our body weight equals the force that pulls posture towards the ground. Gravity obviously remains constant but as we age and get more body mass, the actual force that is applied to our skeletal structure increases. By the time most of us reach the age of 14 the force that must be supported by our lower extremities (hip, knee, ankle and foot) is too great, and posture begins to break down. Gravity pronates the foot, internally rotates our lower extremities, tilts our pelvis forward, and increases spinal curvature. These destructive forces on posture, that increase as we get older, are explained by this basic law of physics. Up to now science has not defined all of the math involved, but it is clear that these destructive forces occur every time we stand on our feet".
Gravity works against you all day long. Now, make it work for you!

Forward Head Posture
Forward head posture is a scourge that has become more prevalent in modern times. It is one of the most common abnormal postures in our society. Ninety percent of the population has some degree of forward head posture.
According to the Journal of American Geriatrics Society, older men and women with hyperkyphotic posture (rounded hump) have higher mortality rates. That means they are more likely to die early.
The journal Spine states all measures of health showed poorer scores as C7 plumbing deviation (forward head and body) increased. In other words, those with forward head posture have a lower health status.
Fact: Posture correlates directly with health and well being.
Fact: Pain and disability increase as optimal posture decreases.
Fortunately, forward head posture can be corrected. Chiropractors have had excellent results with the Posture Pal cushion to reverse forward head posture.
